I'm Erin Parsley, an award-winning professional dancer, dance instructor, choreographer and coach, with decades of experience performing, choreographing and directing on stages across North America (full bio here),
I help engaged couples who are afraid to have all eyes on them during their first wedding dance - or who are just too busy to figure it out - to become totally prepared and confident, so they can dazzle their guests and enjoy themselves during the spotlight moment of the most important day of their lives together.

I love to help others find comfort and joy in movement because I know how challenging learning and trying new things can be. I’ve been partner dancing since my teens, but dance didn’t (and still doesn’t) always come naturally to me. It’s a fun puzzle to figure out.
Beyond patterns and moves, I look at dance as a way to connect with and access fun, creativity, and ease in your own body. It’s also a way to communicate and co-create with others through individual styling, and collaborative improvisation.
It’s my honor and delight to work with partners who want to express their love by creating and performing a dance that reflects who they are, and their commitment to work together and grow together as a team. I’m excited to facilitate that expression of your love and gratitude - for yourselves as individuals, each other as partners, and for your broader community.
Fun fact: I’ve worn practically every style of wedding gown and can show you how to work a long heavy veil or train!

I’ve been dancing since the moment I learned to walk and haven’t stopped. I’ve been teaching for over 10 years in several forms of dance and have trained students of all walks of life. My professional ballet career spans 16 years, and I have expanded my creativity to include choreographing 12 stylistically diverse pieces, which have been performed on stages around the Bay Area.
Dance is such a wonderful freeing creative way of expressing oneself . With dance, one can find love, freedom, and joy, which is extremely important for us human creatures, who are always continuously transforming into better versions of ourselves.
Witnessing couples learn, laugh, and love through dance, is such a magical moment. I am ever grateful to have the opportunity to meet such amazing individuals whose love for each other grows in tremendous leaps with each new step they take together.

Amy Chan Hardison
BUSINESS MANAGER
Amy has a passion for spreadsheets and to-do lists. She is Erin’s right hand woman, and makes sure clients are well taken care of by managing the business side of things at Steps to Love.
A proud UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, Amy also ventured to the windy city, Chicago to obtain an MBA and worked as an Interactive Project Manager with clients such as Motorola, FedEx, and Harpo.
Before returning to her hometown in North Carolina, she took a detour to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer in Vanuatu, a country of islands in the South Pacific.
Amy is incredibly proud to be a part of a business that celebrates the diversity and beauty of love, and helps couples become even more deeply connected.
